By Matt Gerchow
Matt Gerchow is a technology author and has been working in the internet since 1998. Previous to that he was involved in distribution of computer hardware throughout the United States, but primarily for Microsoft Consulting and their subsidiaries.
In 1999, he relocated from Redmond, WA to New York, NY where he held the title of eFunctionality Manager with the PetPlace.com. During this time he acquired a fundamental working knowledge of the internet, raising capital and also an appreciation for life outside the office.
In 2000, when the "dotcom bubble" burst, Mr. Gerchow's skills were acquired by Turnberry Associates in Aventura, FL. After relocating to Florida, he quickly became enamored with the Real Estate Investing that was making many people fortunes as they bought and sold properties.
Seizing this opportunity he founded HomeReco, a property acquisitions company. With the help of several key individuals, this company quickly grew to become one of the premier home buying companies in South Florida. With the accelerated growth came a need for software to tie together the multiple processes necessary for home buying.
After a successful run as a real estate investor, the real estate crash of 2006 left little interest in a tired profession. Mr. Gerchow has often been quoted saying, "you ride the wave while it's good." Seeing that the Real Estate market was going to become a tiresome and frustrating market, Matt relocated to Bogota, Colombia where he was pursuing his girlfriend, now wife, Sandra Zapata. During this time, Matt took to writing his first book, "The New Rich in Real Estate" where he detailed the market crash and the changes that were occurring both in Real Estate but in the market as a whole.
The New Rich would have to be mobile. They could travel the world but not miss a single step along the way. They would be connected to their business, but could completely disconnect at the same time.
The success of this book and a small technology that he invented along the way created an opportunity for Matt and his wife to travel for over four years, living on various island communities throughout the world. One of the most visited and most highly recommended destinations was Phuket, Thailand.
In 2010, Mr. Gerchow founded ClickFindGet, Inc along with his long-time mentor and friend John Schroeder. John was the perfect business partner for Matt. Where Matt had crazy ideas, John could actually program them into reality. Together they have grown ClickFindGet into a well-organized Internet Marketing business.
